Nothing compares to creating worlds and building stories with friends and family. However, popular systems like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder can seem daunting to those who have don’t have experience with roleplaying games.
If you want to help introduce fledgling players (ages 10 and up) to the concepts of more complex systems, try WoodLore. It only requires one six-sided die and a willingness to play as a not-so-powerful woodland critter.
Experienced players who are looking for something simple, quick, and cozy are invited too, of course.
